CBD and Other Cannabinoid Basics
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and is one of the most well-known cannabinoids today.
What is THC?
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a psychoactive cannabinoid most often responsible for the "high" you experience with marijuana.
What are terpenes?
Terpenes are chemical compounds readily found in nature and give off aromas and flavors. When we smell and taste things like lemon or pine, we are experiencing the terpenes limonene and a-pinene.
Can I fail a drug test from using hemp products?
Every body is different, so we cannot guarantee that you will pass a drug test while using some of our products. Carolina Cannabis Creations does offer a variety of CBD isolate and CBD broad spectrum products that are THC-free. We suggest looking into those if there is a concern for passing a drug test. We are not responsible for any positive or false positive results that may come back.
What is the difference between isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum?
Carolina Cannabis Creations manufactures cannabinoid infused products in three categories: isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum.
Isolate
Isolates are cannabinoids that have been extracted and singled out to contain just one type of cannabinoid. Some examples are CBD isolate, CBG isolate, and CBN isolate. These isolates can be very versatile and great for those seeking a particular kind of effect.
Broad Spectrum
Broad Spectrum is very similar to full spectrum as it also contains all of the other cannabinoids found in the hemp plant, such as CBG, CBN, and CBC. Broad spectrum does not contain THC, though, so this can be a great option for those who wish to leave out the THC.
Full Spectrum
While hemp is mainly comprised of the cannabinoid CBD, there are many other cannabinoids present in the plant and there may also trace amounts of THC. Legally, there may be up to 0.3 percent THC by dry weight. The inclusion of this small percentage of THC is considered full spectrum. The combination of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids are thought to produce an entourage effect that increases their effectiveness when taken together.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?
A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is a third-party lab test performed on products to ensure quality, consistency, and safety.
What kind of ingredients do you use?
Carolina Cannabis Creations products only use CO2-extracted cannabinoids and the best quality ingredients we can find. We offer products that are organic, gluten free, and vegan as well.
Why should I use Carolina Cannabis Creations CBD oil?
CBD oil or tinctures are some of the most common cannabinoid infused products on the market. You can use your CBD oil in a smoothie or tea or placed under the tongue and then swallowed.
Why should I use Carolina Cannabis Creations CBD topicals?
Topicals are a great way to target a specific area on the body, as they are applied directly to the skin. Topicals are very versatile and great for targeting different issues depending on the ingredient formulation.
Why should I use Carolina Cannabis Creations CBD Bath Bombs?
Carolina Cannabis Creations CBD Bath Bombs allow you to give yourself a luxurious bathing experience while your body absorbs the combination of epsom salts, jojoba oil, and essential oils.
Ordering
How do I change my order after it has been placed?
While we cannot change an order once it has been placed, we can cancel it before it is processed. Once a package leaves our facility, we can only issue a refund once the original package has been received by the customer and then returned to us.
How do I cancel an order?
If you need to cancel an order, you can do so any time prior to receiving a shipping confirmation by emailing us at carolinacannabiscreations@gmail.com or complete our 'Contact Us' form.
If there was a problem with my order, how do I let you know?
Once you have received your package, it is requested that you open it to verify the correct products were received and there are no missing items. If you received the wrong item OR are missing an item, please reach out to us within 3 days of receiving the shipment. After 3 days, we will be unable to verify the wrong or missing item and ship out a replacement. If you have any other issues, reach out to us at carolinacannabiscreations@gmail.com.
How do I track my order?
One your package has been delivered to the mail carrier, you should receive an email regarding shipment confirmation and a tracking number that you can use.
How do I make a return or request a refund?
We accept returns or refunds in the event that you are unhappy with the product, have used less than 15% of the product, and inquire about the refund and return within 14 days of delivery. We do not cover shipping/return costs unless there was a missing item, then we will cover the cost to ship the missing item. Read more about refunds and returns here.
Shipping
What shipping carrier do you use for your products?
We currently use USPS (First Class) as our primary mail carrier unless otherwise necessary. Carolina Cannabis Creations is not liable for shipping delays as USPS does not guarantee delivery dates/times. Please contact us if you need an alternative mail carrier for your order.
How much is shipping?
Shipment rates are otherwise calculated by delivery location, weight, size, and service (First Class Mail).
How quickly does my order ship?
If you placed your order Monday through Thursday before 3pm, your package will be processed the following business day. If you placed your order Friday through Sunday, your package will be processed the following Monday. Our team works to ship out your orders as quickly as possible.
How do I track my order?
Once your package has been processed, expect to receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number in your email within 24 hours.
